Our aim is to offer excellent dance education, to ensure every child is supported, valued and treated as an individual. Our teachers strive to deliver a personalised tuition tailored to individual students' needs.

The growth and development of our students is rooted in our  pillars which we believe make Brenda Key a unique and extraordinary dance school:

  • We have organised group theatre trips so that the students can feel inspired, and see the repertoire they are learning being performed by professional dancers.

  • We care about the mental wellbeing of our students.

  • We are able to give personal feedback to each individual student.

  • Our students benefit from teachers who are professional dancers and our students have been able to learn choreography from West End shows.

  • At the end of each term, we put on a small performance, or “watching week” where students can invite family/friends and get the opportunity to perform to an audience.

  • We offer opportunities for students searching for volunteering experience and part-time work.

Many of our students stay dancing with us from the moment they first step into Pre-School Ballet aged 3, to the moment they leave for university, and we love seeing their journeys!

Some of our students pursue careers in the performing arts and enjoy success as professional dancers.

Even students who choose to pursue different career paths tend to continue their passion for dance, joining dance societies at university and continuing with adult dance classes.

They come back and visit every now and again and tell us about their adventures!
